BUILDING NEWS
Edd spent most of today cutting out neat edges on the foundation trenches and Josh wheel barrowed the loose material up to piles outside the building area. They have got through most of the big back spine footing now. Their work was interrupted as various people arrived. A truck delivered the reinforcing iron and the bricklayer came to see what stage we were at. He says we need about 1500 bricks for the arches.
John, who is doing the concrete thinks he will bring his team here to start on Thursday because tomorrow is labour day holiday. This is all very exciting after months and months of nothing happening. Maybe the big pour will be done next week!
